Cost-benefit Analysis and Feasibility Study of Project “Connection of the Jekabpils City’s Infrastructure to the TEN-T network”

The project is carried out to develop necessary documentation for attraction of EU structural fund financing within the framework of the Operational programme “Growth and employment” specific objective 6.1.4. “To connect infrastructure of major cities with the TEN-T network” measure 6.1.4.2. “Integration of national development centres in the TEN-T network”.

The overall aim of these investments is to support the city links to the TEN-T network in order to prevent interruptions in infrastructure and create an alternative route transit and freight transport by separating it from local traffic flows and decreasing pollution and noise levels in urban areas.

The project includes feasibility study, assessment of project impact on increasing the capacity of the transport network, estimation of project costs, and cost benefit analysis.
